Meet Our Staff
Brian Parrish is the President & CEO of PARADIGM Real Estate Corporation. Brian received his Undergraduate Real Estate & Finance Degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master's Degree in Business Administration at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Brian has also achieved the prestigious SIOR designation from the D.C.-based international professional organization.
Brian is currently District 6 Alderman for the City of Mequon, and he has volunteered on the City of Mequon Planning Commission since 2013. Additionally, Brian has been a volunteer and (Past) President for several Wisconsin professional trade associations. Brian is a member of the WRA; currently serves on the CARW's Board of Directors; and has received CARW's Champion Award. He is a frequent presenter for various trade organizations and institutions, speaking about real estate, among other topics. Brian is actively supportive of social justice organizations that advocate for women, children and families in our community and beyond.
Matt Friedman joined PARADIGM in January 2015 and was promoted to Senior Vice President & Partner in 2025. Matt's caring and detailed-oriented service helps to fulfill the needs of clients in industrial and commercial transactions. Matt has completed the sale or lease of over 5,900,000 square feet and $140 million in transaction volume. Matt is a member of NAIOP Wisconsin, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, and serves on NAIOP's Programs Committee. He is also a member of CARW and PACE Networking.
A big sports fan, Matt gained experience as a sports broadcaster before beginning his career in commercial real estate. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Matt earned his bachelor's degree in journalism from The Ohio State University. Matt resides in Bayside with his wife Kim and their two children.
Jim Johnson joined PARADIGM in March of 2021. In addition to 10 years of property management experience Jim has spent more than 20 years in the construction wholesale industry. Johnson has been involved in many large construction projects in eastern/southeastern Wisconsin and is a member of several construction trade organizations as well as the Commercial Association of Realtors Wisconsin (CARW). Jim's construction, wholesale, and property management experience helps him to identify the needs of clients in commercial, industrial and warehouse / distribution transactions.
Jim is a native of Mequon and a graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. He resides in Mequon with his wife and two children.
Marko is a seasoned commercial real estate professional with over a decade of experience in brokerage and consulting. Raised by a top-producing broker and past SIOR president in the Greater Toronto Area, he has been involved with industrial sales, agency leasing, tenant representation, land development, and multi-market corporate real estate projects.
With PARADIGM Real Estate, Marko looks to continue his international brokerage work and apply his expertise to Southeast Wisconsin, helping owners and occupiers maximize investments and optimize portfolios.
Before focusing full-time on brokerage, he worked with high-performance teams across Canada and the U.S., implementing innovative marketing, sales, and tech solutions. As a ghostwriter, he has helped Clients become published on over a dozen platforms and authored Data-Driven Dealmaking: The Broker's Guide to Predictable Revenue.
His contributions helped secure SIOR Digital Innovation Awards in 2019 and 2020. A Hamilton College grad, Marko was a D-III All-American hockey player and has traveled to 52 countries.
Jonathan Schutkin is one of PARADIGM's original team members, joining the firm when doors opened in June of 2013. A lifelong Milwaukeean, he brings valuable knowledge of current trends in the Southeastern Wisconsin commercial real estate market. Jonathan recently earned his Real Estate Salesperson license to further support the team and provide value to clients. He holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology from The University of Wisconsin.
Outside of the office, Jonathan is an accomplished disc golfer winning both a world and state amateur championship. He is most often found at Brown Deer Park's disc golf course or exploring the Milwaukee River's urban hiking trails in the Riverwest neighborhood, where he recently purchase a duplex with his girlfriend, Kate.
